  In her performance FATLife, Veronika Merklein stages a saleswoman at a booth promoting a fictional dietary supplement with exaggerated promises – exposing the absurdity of the self-optimization industry and the devaluing of fat bodies.

  Dive deeper into the themes of the performance and explore the exhibition “FLATZ. Physical Machine”, showcasing the radical, body-focused performances of the Austrian artist Wolfgang Flatz.
